Review of Moscow Information DX Bulletin No. 62 (September ' 97)

This special issue is devoted to results of The First Russia DX Contest.

Top 3 places are:
- Vladimir Kovalenko, Tomskaya oblast (1723 points);
- Igor Yaremenko, Novosibirsk (1308 points);
- Dmitriy Kutuzov, Ryazan (1037 points).

Here are the excerpts from the list of the stations which were picked up during the Contest period.

Most of all the following stations were picked up "The Voice of Russia" (224 times), Radio Russia (206 times), "Mayak" (122 times), "Radio-1" (78 times), "Deutsche Welle" relays (44 times).

Radio "Yunost" (or "Molodyezhniy Kanal" - "Youth channel") was picked up 29 times on 153, 936, 1125, 1251, 1278, 1377, 1512, 6260, 68.84 MHz, 71.39 MHz, 78.00 MHz, 102.0 MHz.

"Radio Rossii-Nostalgi" was picked up 25 times on 180, 225, 243, 279, 585, 639, 693, 1512, 4485, 4050, 4820, 4895, 7210, 70.19 MHz, 73.61 MHz, 100.5 MHz, 102.1 MHz, 103.2 MHz, 105.3 MHz.

Next were BBC (20 times), "Europa plus" (18 times), "Orfey" (15 times), "Echo Moskvy" (11 times).

The following stations were picked up 10 times: "Radonezh" (on 612, 846, 1323), "Region-Tyumen" (on 225, 891, 4820, 4895, 6095, 9640), "Russkoye Radio" (1116 + several UHF frequencies).

The following stations were picked up 8 times: RFI relays (on 909, 1440, 12005, 12075), Radio Netherlands relay (on 5835, 7310, 12065, 13695, 13710), Radio "Nadezhda" (on 1044, 1053, 104.2 MHz), "Tikhiy Okean" (on 9850, 10344, 11655, 12070, 15490).

"Avtoradio" and Radio Liberty relays were picked up 7 times each.

To continue our Russia's theme we present news from Russia:
- Radio "Prestizh" will change its program format;
- details of the broadcasts from the Voice of Tatarstan, Udmurt State Radio, Chuvash State Radio;
- interrepublican program "Between Volga and Ural" providing by the broadcasting companies of Tatarstan, Bashkiriya, Udmurtiya, Chuvashiya, Mariy-El, Mordoviya;
- broadcasting in St.Petersburg.

Also in this issue "Broadcasting news: SW", "Clandestine broadcasting" and "Tropical CO.RAD. 1997" Contest conditions.
